Hi. I'm Andrew. Audio portal junkie since 2010, supporter since 2017. I always want to improve what I do! I make music, run the NGUAC, post poetry on BBS, and am the all-time #2 audio reviewer. I love this site, and I want to make it the best I can! ^_^

Yeah, it's crazy. Maybe there were just more contests/events than usual on the AP, but I still don't know how to explain a spike quite this large. It's almost the same magnitude as the FNF spike of 2020-2021!
this info is so crazy and I wonder what this means for the future of all of us who've been here for so long.
Potentially a bigger audience for our tracks. But also harder to get front-paged. Overall, I think it's a good thing though.
@TaintedLogic I agree!
Numbers are nice I like it

my song was actually uploaded on the 1st of February lol.
It was at exactly midnight.
The true last submission of January was this: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1289726
I think that every January has a higher than usual number of submissions due to Jamuary which has a lot of participants (including me)

Ah, yes. I explained that wrong in the original version of the news post. Calculating the number of submissions in a month should involve subtracting the Audio Portal ID for the first submission of the subsequent month from the first submission of the relevant month. I have edited the post to reflect this. Thanks!
