Good year! You've made a lot of musicians here show more of their potential!
Me included! I hope you have a happy new year!

Thanks TeraVex! That's great to hear! Happy new year, indeed. ;)

Hey man, if it wasn't for you and many other people's reviews ( mostly yours ) I probably wouldn't be where I am today, so thanks for everything and may 2015 be a rad year or ya!

Aww...thanks Zenovance! I'm really glad you've found all my reviews so helpful. :) Happy new year!

You can come back to fl studio or garageband or spend time on newgrounds at any time. Don't force yourself to make time for these things if other aspects of your life are more important or interesting to you.

I hope you enjoy college! I would tell you what I'm doing next year, but I'm still unsure. I have some culinary skills so I can probably get a job, but working as a chef (or something similar) seems like an extremely repetitive and tiresome job, and knowing myself, I would definitely want to quit if I felt that way. I want to consider college to be an option, but I'm not socially prepared for it. The other options are even worse, so I have to choose between two options that will lead to extremely difficult challenges later on. When I was in elementary school, I remember thinking to myself, "I can't wait to finish high school and not have to do all this work". It took me until now to realize that one's school years are the easy part of life.

Thanks for the advice, BlueOceans. It seems I always have something more important to do than spend time on Newgrounds...but never more interesting, I assure you! :)

Thanks! My initial reaction is that if you're unsure about what you want to do with your life, more education might help you decide. I believe I recall that you live in New York, and there are a lot of colleges there, both upstate and in the city. In fact, I applied to 3 of them. ;) Ultimately, however, the choice is yours, of course.

I'm quickly realizing that the school years can be easier than the adult world as well. Adults generally have more job and financial security, though, at least past a certain age. :) Best of luck with whatever you decide to do, BlueOceans! :D

You're the best man. Seriously. Don't stop being optimistic, and keep that attitude because it damn well got you places, didn't it? :) Thanks for being awesome.

D'awwww, shucks! :D Thanks so much, Lockyn. ^_^ I finally got a Beatport gift card for Christmas, so I'm going to pay a visit to your page when I get the chance. ;)

You have a lot of hobbies! You know, occasionally I play tennis too :3
Good luck with 2015! I have a lot of plans myself, and I'll be looking forward to your future contributions to this site!!! :)

P.S. Thanks for the shoutout ;)

Thanks for the good wishes, LSD. :D I'll be looking forward to yours, too. Happy 2015! ;)

Hey, sorry for not responding much, I don't really go on newgrounds that often anymore :P

I really appreciate all the feedback you put on my stuff, especially since most of the time the people I show it to really don't know enough about production (or music, for that matter) to make comments more insightful than "it's cool" and the like. I'm also somewhat busy, so I tend not to finish songs (to my standard) or just throw a bunch of ideas together and call it a "song," but I'm hoping to get out at least a couple finished ones sometime soon. Q_Q

Anyways, thanks for all the comments you've given out. Means a lot.

Oh, and I'm also an Andrew, and I'm also waiting to get into college :D fun times

Woah, sorry I didn't see this earlier! :O I rely on my feed now to tell me what's going on, and I must've just missed this comment! I appreciate your response. Andrews ftw! Good luck with your college process. Do you want to do business, engineering, liberal arts, or...what?

2014 was kind of an ambivalent year for me. I grew in popularity, but I began to lose my musical spark. Hopefully 2015 will be better. Are you planning on making an NGAUC2K15? I'd definitely join :)

Thanks for the comment, man! I am in fact planning on making an NGAUC '15. ;) It'll probably be earlier in the summer, though, as I'll have a lot of work to do to prepare for college. Best of luck to you in 2015 and beyond! ^^

College has ruined my online life more than once, haha. You're not the only one that's had trouble staying on NG, for sure. Glad to hear you're planning on sticking around! :)

Thanks, haha! I appreciate that. :) May I ask where you go to college?

...and yeah, I'll do everything in my power to make sure I stay active on NG! ^^

I go to a little community college not far from home, EMCC, Scooba, MS. Hard to stay online in the Fall due to marching band. Where do you think you'll go?

I don't know...I've applied to a few small liberal arts colleges, mostly in New England and New York. I'm in my high school's orchestra, and I'd love to keep playing the cello in college. What do you play in marching band?

Euphonium, actually, but in high school, my senior year, I swapped to tuba for a year, then back again when I hit college. Basically, the brass family is my friend. We never really had stringed instruments, unfortunately. Very cool that your high school has an orchestra! Must be fancy. :P

Euphonium! That's awesome! The only other person I know who plays the euphonium is my chorus teacher. XD I don't know about "fancy," but my school is probably a lot bigger than yours was...eastern Massachusetts is a pretty densely populated area. Roughly 30,000 people live in my town, and about 1,400 students go to my town's public high school. ;)

Yeah, I'd say your school was about double the size of mine. I went to a small county school, only about 30 people in the band on average every year, and one year we were as small as 12. College was a big change.

Hmm...interesting. Most of the colleges I'm applying to aren't much bigger than my high school...one or two are even smaller. I'd say there are about 20 kids in my high school's orchestra, but there are two orchestras, as one of them is by-audition only and is for honors credit. I'm in the less advanced one. :) There are about 50 kids in my chorus though, and our school has 5 choirs. Band is taught by a separate teacher, although I believe there are several bands as well - two jazz bands of differing skill levels, a concert band, and an ensemble just for winds. Also, if you don't mind, I think it'd be more convenient for the both of us to continue this conversation via PM. Besides, we've kind of veered away from the subject matter of the original news post. XD
