I like it. I'll get started.

Great! Best of luck. :)

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully i will have time to do this contest.

Great! Good luck. ;)

Should the track to be posted be a current work in progress?

I'd advise against that. The track you post should be what you feel to be your best work. If you're able to make a new track in the next 11 days, go for it! If not, submitting a track you made months or even years ago is totally fine. :)

Can I submit a song that has an ambience sample I recorded with distant voices? It's sort of hard to hear what any of them are saying with the other parts of the song mixed in.

Interesting question. Were the people whose voices you were recording consciously contributing to your composition with what they were saying/the way they were talking, or were you the one who took the initiative to use their voices for artistic purposes?

will it be good if i made an industrial dnb song?

Songs of any genre are accepted, yes. :)

I can't wait who will be winners of this audio contest :D

I'm sure that I will have a lot of fun in this \(^w^)/

Yay! ^^

Just making sure, but do you post the submission in the comments, or is there a certain place.

Please post your submission here: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1423801

I read the rules, but i want to make sure, are we allowed to start making other songs for the second and third rounds?

No. When the threads for those respective rounds go up, you may. For the next round, that'll happen sometime on July 7th...but the thread going up is what you want to watch for. ;)

Is it allowed to replace a track you have already submitted?
Or submitting 2 tracks?

You can replace a track you have already submitted, but you can't submit multiple tracks. Thanks! :)

I'm also in the NGADM, can I still join?

Yes! :D

Sounds interesting, but I'll have to pass on this. Try as I might, my mind and my fingers aren't working as in-tune as they used to, so I've really got nothing to give. Best of luck to those who do enter, though!

Hmmm...that's too bad, but I respect your decision. Best of luck with your future projects!

Can you just add the link for where to send your submission in the post (or whatever it is)? I'm gonna make a track and get in!

Sure! Please submit your track here: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1423801#bbspost26064461_post_text

This is cool! Good luck to everyone!

How do I "link to a thread"?

Sorry - I should've been more explicit. A forum thread is just a collection of posts centered around a topic (like a music competition).

The thread for this contest is here: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1423801#bbspost26064461_post_text

All you have to do is press "respond to this topic" and then copy and paste the URL from the song you want to submit to the contest.

Let me know if you have more questions! Thanks.

I'm working on a submission now. Is the deadline June 30 or July 2?

Sorry for the confusion. The deadline is the 2nd. It was too late to edit the forum post once we decided to move the deadline back. Thanks for checking! ;)

Question, since I'm making a Cute J-Future Bass... can I use anime vocal samples like for example "Ochin-chin"? (Yes I know what it means hahaha)

As long as the samples are not copyrighted and otherwise comply with NG audio guidelines (https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/terms-of-use/audio-guidelines?path=/wiki/help-information/terms-of-use/audio-guidelines), yes.

Also, this is the rules post for last year. The current version can be found here: https://taintedlogic.newgrounds.com/news/post/1015445. Thanks!
