I love the emotion! It's so upbeat! I listened to the full track on Soundcloud, and I like it a lot. Like I've said before, I don't think all your tracks need to be so long, but I understand that it's your style. :) I'm sure your girlfriend will love it, and that's the important thing. ;)

Dylnmatrix responds:

Thanks man. I'm glad you like it.

And yes, she loved it, so I'm happy.

I like the ominous beginning, even if it was a little slow-going for a while. I loved the climax, but the part after :54 didn't measure up to the level of intensity that the climax established in my opinion. It was energetic and catchy, but not quite the explosion of emotion that I anticipated. It was still good, maybe a little repetitive towards the end, but I think you should try to manage your listeners' emotions a bit better in your next track. I like the ending, btw, and it loops pretty well, too. Overall, good job! You should keep working on it! It has potential, man. Keep it up! :)

Thanks man ! :)
Glad you like it, even a quiet bit !

I have to agree !
Even recognized, that it's repetitive, im still workin on it !
Like i've said, it's still a "work in progress" ;) Not finished yet.
Anyway - Im so thankful for your respones !
That's what i need !
Thanks for your review ! I will take care of your advices !

My biggest hope is, that I've managed the levels right, because i did this on my headphones and couldnt take any listen on speakers :/

I like the ominous beginning, but I didn't like how you used that open hat at :09. Maybe it's just not my style, but the rhythm of the hat was a bit distracting from the melody. Speaking of the melody, I like it a lot! It's catchy and fits with the ominous beginning. 1:00 was a pleasant surprise. I was totally expecting a hardcore drop there, but suddenly it was chill again. As for the actual dubstep part, I thought it was incorporated well with the rest of the song. I don't always like vocals used like that, or dubstep in general for that matter, but I like this a lot better than some other stuff I've heard. I liked the ending, too. Keep up the good work! :)

Kaskrin responds:

Thanks man, will do! I appreciate the honest comment.

I like the mood and beat and climax. The instruments and structure were solid. The melody is definitely engaging, but the variations at :15 aren't really my style...but that's just me. Anyway, I think you should keep working on it. It has potential- it just needs somewhere to go. Right now it's basically a variation of the same melody. Hope this review helped! :)

ElectroLord99 responds:

it helps! :)
thx for your feedback, 6th door.

Loved the suspense and bass-y feel to it. It's a solid and well-structured beat, but I feel like you can make it more "thrilling," as I see that's one of the tags. I would suggest making it more climactic, and maybe playing with emotional contrast a little bit more. Besides that, it's really good. I like the beat and the bass and the ambient mood. Keep up the good work! :)

DFDCinematic responds:

Brilliant. I had hoped to extend the track, but it's 2:30am and I just really cannot be bothered. I would love to spend some time creating a much longer and more thought out ambient/chill/electronic/thrilling piece, whatever you wish to call it (I suck with genres). Thanks for your review.

I love the bass-y feel and the climactic nature of it. The instruments, especially the drums, added a lot to the drama of the piece. You constantly vary it and it has this engrossing sort of energy to it. The only part I didn't like was the ending. It needs to stand out more in my opinion. Other than that, great job! Hope this review was helpful! ;)

Vee responds:

Thank you very much! it was helpful! the ending was attempted to fix... i didn't know what you meant that much but i tried!

Yeah! So upbeat and energetic! A little repetitive, and the effect at :46 and 1:16 seemed a little random, but this is well-structured. I liked the part at 1:17, too, btw, and you really should make the full version available here. I listened to the whole thing on youtube, and I'm impressed! The emotion is amazing, and I'm thirsty for more! :D Never stop making music, man! ^^ You deserve all of your 322 fans and more! ;)

GrantBowtie responds:

Thanks man! Appreciate the support

Yeah! :D It's so relaxed, and the instruments were well-used. I especially love the one you used for the chords. You really played with my emotions! I love a piece that can do that! The sound effect at 2:52, however, didn't really work for me. I appreciate the emotional contrast, but the transition from chill to creepy was a little too sudden for me. I also thought the part at 2:54 got a little repetitive. 3:36 was a highlight of the song for me. The end of the song didn't have the same beatific vibe that the beginning had. It kind of threw me off that the bass carried this club-ish energy, but the chords (if that's what you'd call them) were still really chill. I think you should choose one feeling or the other for the end, but I still appreciate the attempt at going somewhere with the song. I also liked the very end of the piece. It seemed fitting. Overall, good job. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

;) .

I like the climactic nature of it. The instruments you used were pretty good, but I thought you overused that snare a bit, especially at :22. It was well-structured, even if it is just 30 seconds long. I'd like to see some more original work of yours. You didn't really add anything to the original. Also, I must agree with EvilJellyMan: it doesn't loop that well. Sorry. Hope this review was helpful. ^^

Vee responds:

ok lol

It's okay...I liked the ominous beginning, especially with the drums, but it was a little slow in general. The strings were hiding under the beat for most of the song- it could've been much more dramatic, as I see that's what you were going for. Also, there could have been a lot more dynamic contrast before/after 1:08. It's not a bad start. I just think it could be more emotional. I encourage you to keep working on it. ;)

skipspace responds:

I agree with everything you said. It definitely could have been better, but as it was just for testing purposes, I didn't exactly make it to the best of my abilities. If I ever do choose to do a finished version (Which I probably will at some point), I'll take into account everything you mentioned. Thanks!
