This looks awesome! Love the world map radar screen in the background and the gritty, military-style text. Fits the branding of "deathmatch" well. If I had to complain about something, it might be that 482 hours is not a very intuitive period of time to understand. Still, it was a really good idea to post this, and the design is clean. Cheers! ^_^

Thanks! I went with HHH:MM:SS clock because it was a bit shorter than one with days and thus allowed for bigger text, but I'll check how it looks with days included, I'll be making a small update soon in any case.

Cute game! Thematic content is fun, and I like the music and story at the beginning. The concept is a bit simple, and the picture could be a little less pixel-y, but it also gives the animation a fun retro vibe. Keep at it, Nick et al! :)

Great game! The original made my year in 6th grade, and this game is both similar enough in format to rekindle that nostalgia while it's different enough in the strategy and mechanics required to win to keep it interesting. Nice work! Maybe I'll even go to MaxGames later to try it on impossible mode. :)

Hilarious! Music is a great touch too. Perhaps there could've been a bit more to it, but it was good for some brief entertainment. Good luck with your future projects, Angela!

Fun take on a timeless classic! I especially like the cinematic music and the details on the background landscapes. Chicken noises and items were cool too. Can't give you too many points for originality, but the climactic and addictive qualities of "toss" games will always win me over. Keep up the good work, man! ^_^

Pretty cool game. Graphics are good. I like the silly cartoons that connect the game to the premise/story. Eerie music is a nice touch. Vaguely crude thematic content is a plus. It's a little slow-paced towards the beginning, but maybe that's just because I didn't get too far. Overall solid work!

Aesthetic of the game is straight-up beautiful. Music is, too. Admittedly, I didn't get very far, but I like the "choose-your-own-adventure" style with the dialogue and the mysterious, silhouetted quality of the characters. Really amazing work, just from a visual perspective. Maybe I'll check out that sequel you put up someday, too. :)

Cute game. A little simplistic and repetitive, but it definitely uses the appeal of easy medal points and "man-I-can-definitely-do-better-than-that"-style addictive tactics to its advantage. Also, I couldn't help but crack up at the Neil Tyson image you threw in there. ;)

Ok, I like this! :D Yeah, I'll agree, it's not as elaborate or creative as D-Pression, but it's a cool idea with a cyclical frustration-addiction quality. Nice work! ;)

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks for the reivew, which pretty much sums up most of the game XD
While D-Pression was more of a puzzle game, this is mostly performance based :p
I did make it too difficult again though...

Wow! This is amazing! :D I'm so jealous of your wide variety of talents, LSD! ;D This is a really creative, amusing, and even addicting game! I made a point of not reviewing it until I completed it, as I wanted to really evaluate it. First of all, I love the theme of depression and darkness. I had to turn all the lights off in my room in order to see the "shadow." XD I love gams that involve strategy as opposed to mindlessness, and this was a great example of that. Each level is very clever and often challenging, the whole game was very well designed, and I didn't come across any glitches! :) Nice music, too! Overall, simply an extremely entertaining experience. Huge congrats on front page/ 4k views and counting, btw! :D This truly deserves all the attention it's getting! Keep up the great work, man! ;D

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a million! You and LuncayEcho have been extremely supportive throughout my entire time here on Newgrounds, which is amazing!

I'm glad you liked the theme, as my focus is clearly on athmosphere, as well as the puzzles. I'm also impressed you managed to complete the whole game, since only about 1 in 40 have done so thus far.

Also, it's good that you liked the level design! Almost everyone has had an issue with one specific level though, hahha! I appreciate that you took the time to finish the game before reviewing too; I know you have quite the busy schedule! And I admire your talents too, as they are several. Have you ever thought about making a game yourself :D?

I'm surprised to see there haven't really been that many glitches, which means less work for me (although I'm currently woriking on the final bits of the "story", which should be added later this day).

Again, thank you TheDoor6, and have a good day! :3
