Yeah! :D I love the mood and instruments. Progressive isn't really my favorite genre, I think we've established that before, but this is great for some light listening. I like the structure and transitions, especially at 4:19. That's also the point where it seemed to be going somewhere as a whole, which is good. It sounds pretty similar to some of your other tracks, however. I'd love to see some more variety in that regard in the future. I think the ending is a little cliché with the beat and crash, but overall it's a cool piece. It's been a while, though! Glad to see you're posting again, RoVeRDude58! Nice job! ;D

Ah, thanks :DD, I was trying something new and see how it turns out and yes progressive isn't my favorite genre either but it's an easy genre to master, the melody imo was a bit cheesy and yeah, I bet you noticed the structure is different than the old songs so all this put a lot pressure on my creative mind >.<

Also you're doing really great yourself too, keep it up.

I love the instruments and the sound effect that sounds like rain. The emotion is fantastic. I didn't think you needed that crash at 1:04,1:26, 1:48, and wherever else it comes in. It ruins the mood a bit. However, the structure is good, and it even loops pretty well. Nice work as always! :D

Ha! I was really on the edge with that crash. On one hand it *is* the only percussion in the song... but on the other hand, without it, the transitions seem a lot more abrupt. Maybe I should have just turned it down. Thanks for dropping by :-)

I love the melody and instruments. It's very blissful, and the funky, unorthodox bass that comes in at :33 and :39 and some other parts really adds a lot to the piece! :D I could see this as an awesome full-length track, maybe with a little more variation on the melody. Please keep working on this! Great start! ;D

hey thanks man! I really appreciate the comment. I will keep working on it trying to make a nice change or something :)

I like the mood at the beginning, as well as the instruments and sweeps and crash. It's nice and atmospheric. It doesn't progress quickly enough for my tastes, but it's great for some easy listening. The beat gave it a strange sort of energy, and I love the breakdown around 2:30. I liked the structure and transitions, and it seemed to go somewhere as a whole. Nice work! ;)

Alloud responds:

Thank you for the input, it's appreciated! I was definitely going for the atmospheric/easy listening thing; it's what I do for most of my tracks. If I ever try house again I'll probably go for faster progression and more dynamic song structure, so maybe something closer to electro house. The breakdown is actually my least favorite part, haha, but I'm glad you liked it. Thanks again.
