I like the distorted instruments and catchy melody at the beginning. I wish it was more varied, though, and the transition at 1:13 was a little rough. It's well-structured and unique, and even loops pretty well. An overall solid piece, just needs more of a direction to go in, y'know? I think you should keep working on it, but good start! ;)

Radiationator responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it probably needs to be a little less repetitive and a bit more smooth, so I'll be sure to fix that on the full version.

I liked the melody and instruments and relaxed mood at the beginning. However, I think it would've been more interesting if you played with the dynamic contrast towards the beginning (the instruments gradually got louder in order to create a climax into :58). I liked the part at :58 btw, but I didn't like how the strings got distorted by the percussion/effects shortly after. I liked how you incorporated more instruments into the piece as it went on, like the piano that came in around 2:00. The harmonies were nice, and the structure pretty good too, but you might want to think more about the dynamics of certain instruments, like the melody instrument at around 3:20, which was a little too penetrating for its own beautiful melody. Overall, good piece! Endings are important to me, and I liked how this one ended! Hope this review was helpful, and keep up the good work! ;)

thanks for the tips, i'll make sure to look up on it, and maybe try to remaster it, soon enough.
also this is the first time i've experienced with the more cinematic ochestral style, and your comment are very much appreciated :)

Pretty catchy, and I like the mood and dynamic contrast, but some of the instruments were way too penetrating, like at :23. However, I like the rhythmic section at :39. It's pretty well-structured. I liked the transition at 1:53, too. Fade-out endings in general aren't that interesting, though, and this was no exception. It has potential, but I would say it needs a couple of new instruments. The structure of it also might function better if it were a full-length track with 1-2 breakdowns and more variation. Keep at it, though. Good start! ;)

aevidal88 responds:

thx for the detailed review hope you enjoyed listening too : )

I liked the ominous and strangely relaxed beginning, as well as the bass and the distorted effects later on. I wish it progressed a little faster, though, and I don't really think it loops that well. It definitely has potential, though. This is a solid intro to a piece. It just needs to be more energetic, more melodic, more engaging. You have the rhythm section down, and it's pretty catchy, too, but there isn't enough substance for my tastes. Keep working on it. It'll be worth your while. ;)

NiCK-NiCK-NiCK-NiCK responds:

I agree with you completely :) Thank you

Once again, extremely clever and creative lyrics. :D The instrumentals were also very good, and I appreciated the acapella/breakdown section, which added a lot to the structure of an otherwise dynamically uniform piece. Maybe it was a little overly ambitious of me to criticize the vocals last time, as the focus of the piece is clearly on the humorous lyrics themselves. Excellent work! :D Have you ever considered making an animation to go along with these tracks?

ulfusNG responds:

I have a cintiq tablet though I don't have much experience with animation, might try and make something simple.

Yeah! :D Really catchy and unique and bass-y. I love it! Excellent instruments and flow, a solid feel-good kind of track. The bass line sounds a little like the one in "Burst" at times, but still some impressive beats! Keep at it, Waterflame! :D

I like the instruments and harmonies. It certainly conveys a very dramatic mood. It even loops pretty well. I'd love to see this turned into a full-length track, maybe with more of a climax/ dynamic contrast. It definitely has potential. Great start! ;)

ComposerDylan responds:

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to listen and review! I really appreciate it. I'm working on several pieces at the moment, this one was the first one to get the inspiration flowing. I'll post another one in a few hours. Thanks D.

I like the instrumentals, but the vocals could've been better in my opinion. I might even go as far as to say that it sounded a lot like screaming at the end. Sorry. That's completely negated, however, by the extremely clever lyrics and catchiness of this song. Good work! You just earned yourself a scout, my friend. ;)

ulfusNG responds:

Thanks for the scout :), I hope to make a whole bunch more, hard thinking of what to write about though. Currently writing one about travelling back in time to 'stop' Hitler via alternative means.

Beautiful instruments and harmonies. Climactic and dramatic. I love it! ^^ The transitions at 1:18 and 2:04 were a little rough, but it's very well-varied. Lovely harmonies toward the end. The transition at 3:06 was excellent. I liked the ending a lot, too! Overall, great job! ;)

thank you very much :) I'm super glad u liked it!
