I love the mood and instruments. Those little melodies like at :50 really added a lot to piece! :D I also really appreciate the constant variation. You're good at that! ;) Fitting ending as well! My only complaint is that it lacks substance, but this is definitely a great track for a swamp level in a game! :D Once again: excellent job, Waterflame! ;D

I like the melody at the beginning. This piece is nice and climactic. I like the beat and instruments, even though I think I recognize a couple from your other tracks. I wish it progressed a little faster in the beginning, and around 1:38 too, but once it hit 2:42, the blissful mood and engrossing melody took control! ^^ Excellent structure and really smooth transitions as usual! 3:57 was a cool breakdown, too. I like the ending a lot as well. Once again, a fabulous job, Matt! I can't wait for more! :D

Dylnmatrix responds:

Thanks man. I'm still learning how House music works, especially in the intros. Also, about the similar instruments, I felt like they fit the feel of what I wanted the most, but other than that, the other synths were hand made by me or altered by me for the song.

But thanks for the review, hopefully I'll be able to get another song done here soon!

I like the instruments and beat. It's catchy, and the mixing is pretty good. However, I do agree that the recording quality isn't great. The vocals are good, but I feel like you could've put a little more emotion into them. The melody at 1:17 is good, but it ends a little suddenly. Well-structured, smooth-flowing, an overall solid track. I'd love to see some more original work some time! ;)

Cyberdevil responds:

Yeah, maybe my voice is a bit flat. Overall I think it's the recording equipment at fault, need to get something better. Thanks for the feedback! There's definitely more original work coming up. :)

Pretty melody and instruments. Relaxing, yet strangely energetic. I like it! :) It has an amazing flow, but I do wish there was a little more dynamic contrast, even though it is a background-sort of track. The mood and the instruments were top-notch, though, and I like the ending a lot, too. Great job. ;)

thank you so much for responding. i will try to improve on my next piece. For the main while, check out the last one i have made, and comment on it too if you got a chance.

Your preview was a masterpiece in itself, but this is outstanding! :D Excellent melody as always, and the transition at :30 was awesome. A little repetitive, but I love the instruments and flow of the piece. I like the breakdown at 1:45 as well, and how you transition into the refrain. The ending was very interesting too. Incredible work as always, Envy! :D

I like the mood and instruments at the beginning. Dubstep is- again- not really my genre of choice, but the creepy vocals and sound effects were...interesting to say the least. Some of those sounds were just way too distorted for me, however, but I must say: the transition at :38 and the build-up that followed were very well done. I also must say that I usually don't find fade-out endings very creative or interesting. Sorry. However, it is a well-structured track, and I'm sure there are plenty of people on NG that appreciate your "filth." ;)

It's not a bad beat. The chord progression and melody were simple, but unique. I really wish it progressed a little faster, though. The structure is good, but some of your transitions, like at 1:59, could've been smoother. I like the mood and instruments, however. The melody got a little random and repetitive toward the end. Personally, I didn't really think the part from 2:34-3:33 really added much to the piece. I can tell you tried to add some variation here, but it came off as rather disparate from the main melody, and that didn't really work for me. Sorry. I think it has potential, though. It just needs more of a direction to go in, y'know? I think you should keep working on it, but not a bad start. ;)

Vasek responds:

Thanks for advices. I'm still learning rules of music and training my imgination, so who knows what will future bring? ^^

I like the instruments and melody, but it's very repetitive and lacks substance. It doesn't loop that well, and the transitions between the strings and music box, like at :15, are a little rough. I think you have a strong structure here- it just needs to be smoother, as well as a little more engaging. Couldn't hurt to vary it more, either. Pretty good start, though. ;)

Ritz190 responds:

Thanks. yea it was a test to see how well things meshed together. I don't plan on doing too much with it since it was just a test, but I see where you're coming from and I appreciate the criticism, dude!
