Yeah! So upbeat and energetic! A little repetitive, and the effect at :46 and 1:16 seemed a little random, but this is well-structured. I liked the part at 1:17, too, btw, and you really should make the full version available here. I listened to the whole thing on youtube, and I'm impressed! The emotion is amazing, and I'm thirsty for more! :D Never stop making music, man! ^^ You deserve all of your 322 fans and more! ;)

Thanks man! Appreciate the support

Yeah! :D It's so relaxed, and the instruments were well-used. I especially love the one you used for the chords. You really played with my emotions! I love a piece that can do that! The sound effect at 2:52, however, didn't really work for me. I appreciate the emotional contrast, but the transition from chill to creepy was a little too sudden for me. I also thought the part at 2:54 got a little repetitive. 3:36 was a highlight of the song for me. The end of the song didn't have the same beatific vibe that the beginning had. It kind of threw me off that the bass carried this club-ish energy, but the chords (if that's what you'd call them) were still really chill. I think you should choose one feeling or the other for the end, but I still appreciate the attempt at going somewhere with the song. I also liked the very end of the piece. It seemed fitting. Overall, good job. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

It's okay...I liked the ominous beginning, especially with the drums, but it was a little slow in general. The strings were hiding under the beat for most of the song- it could've been much more dramatic, as I see that's what you were going for. Also, there could have been a lot more dynamic contrast before/after 1:08. It's not a bad start. I just think it could be more emotional. I encourage you to keep working on it. ;)

I agree with everything you said. It definitely could have been better, but as it was just for testing purposes, I didn't exactly make it to the best of my abilities. If I ever do choose to do a finished version (Which I probably will at some point), I'll take into account everything you mentioned. Thanks!

It's so upbeat and cute! I love it! ^^ The melody is really happy and engaging. The whole thing is really catchy. The transition at 2:02 was a little sudden for me, however. I also think you use a lot of the same instruments in many of your songs. Maybe going forward you could try exploring other genres. Still, love your work, Blackjack213. It brightens my day! :D

Really interesting...I like the instruments and melodies. You incorporated the speech well, however in general I don't usually like spoken words used in excess in a song...but that's just me. I'm not sure how the speech relates to the "buttery epic popcorn" theme, but after :22 the song was pretty catchy and well-structured. Loops well too. Good job! ^^

mistarogerz responds:

The speech from Robert Frost just felt right at the time. However, in retrospect "What the Hell was I thinking when naming this thing Buttery Epic Popcorn?"

I love the cute instruments! The beat and the breakdown at :40 were really catchy. Nice job with the irony- dying young is so cute and happy! Really good remix. I'm looking forward to hearing some more of your original tracks. :D

I like the melody and the instruments. It has a pleasant sort of simplicity to it, with a nice videogame-ish feel, too. One suggestion I would make is to connect the instruments more. At :17, :34, and many other places in the song, there seems to be an accent on every note, which might have something to do with the instrument you used. It makes the piece feel a little choppy, which I don't think you were going for. Anyway, overall it's a nice piece, and I like the ending, too. Keep up the good work! ;)

Well, I like the intro and it's pretty catchy, but I feel like some of the instruments were pretty distorted and muddy, especially at :46. I like the climactic nature of it, and the rhythm and beat, for that matter, but some of those instruments sound more like sound effects to me, with the "whoosh" noises, especially at :46. I don't know if it's just not my style or what, but I feel like there should be more of a melody at :46 based on "melody-like" instruments. Other than that, it's a well-structured piece, and I like the ending. I encourage you to keep working on it. ;)
