I like the serene mood and instruments. It doesn't progress very quickly, but in a way that fits with the mood. I wasn't sure I liked all the harmonies in there around :43, yet I do like the gradual incorporation of new moods and themes. It could use some more variation towards the end, but overall the structure was good. I like the ending, too. It seemed to fit with the swell and then decline of activity within the piece. Unique, and strangely engaging, too. I don't think it's necessarily a polished final product, but good work overall. ;)

yeah, this was kind of experiment you might say, i make some tunes like these but never really publish them, just don't think enyone will like it, but at the look of it, its alright. not the best but alright.

thanks for the review ^ ^

I like the instruments, especially the percussion and guitar at :18. It's groovy and unique, with a mood that's both refreshing and forlorn at the same time! The variation and melodies are excellent. Smooth-flowing, well-structured, harmonizing, loops very well. Amazing work! Easily 5 stars. ;)

Thanks for the kind review bro! I really love acoustic guitar too - it's tough for it not to sound good :)

I like the mood and instruments. It's nice and relaxed, but I wish there was a little more variation and progression to it, even if it's not an official track of yours. Still, I like your ambient tracks a lot, Waterflame, as well as how you constantly keep experimenting with different styles. I think it's a great way of achieving your max potential. Keep doing what you're doing, man! ;)

Cool beat, man. ;) I like the bite that the clap has, and the rhythm of the kick. It loops well, too. Are you planning on making a song from this?

bluelephan2 responds:

Possibly. This was a short experiment. Thanks for the review.

I like the instruments, mood, and how it progresses, but it lacks substance and complete structure. If you're planning on doing more with this, I would recommend adding some more layers of sound and coming up with a more creative ending than a fade-out. Pretty good start, though. ;)

I like the frantic melody and cool instruments. It's very energetic and fun! :D I like the transitions at :13 and 1:01, and it's well-structured and engaging and unique. It ends a little suddenly, though. I'd love to see this made into a full-length track, maybe with some more variation on the melody. Still, it's an awesome piece, and a great creative way of channeling your anger! ;)

Thank you!

What an honest and helpful review :) you rock

I like the instruments and mood at the beginning, and how it's climactic and ominous. It's well-structured, and those vocals at 1:12 really added a lot to the piece. Excellent work with the transitions and drums. It's very unique and moody. Keep up the great work, man. ;)

I like the mood and instruments. It's climactic and pretty well-flowing, except :50 was a little too sudden of a change of pace for me. Maybe it got a little repetitive around 2:30, but I like the transition at 3:13. However, fade-out endings usually aren't that entertaining for me. I like how it was pretty, yet energetic, though. Overall, it's a nice, melodic, well-structured, feel-good kind of piece. I like it a lot! :)

A perfect example of why I love your music, Envy! :D Wonderful melody and instruments, very smooth-flowing and climactic. I love the transition at :45. Please finish this as soon as possible! I'll be waiting! :D

I like the instruments and mood, but it didn't progress very fast. That guitar caught me off guard- I thought it was turning into a more energetic song, and then it got all dreamy again...you have a lot of different instruments and melodies in there. I feel like they could mesh together better, and the structure is a little fractured. What I mean by that is that it seems like a lot of isolated melodies right now. It needs more flow, just like most of your pieces, I'm afraid. Another thing you could do to make transitions smoother is play around with the drums. When the piece is getting more energetic, emphasize them more, and when it becomes more dreamy and atmospheric, slowly strip them away. I think part of it is that you're trying to do too much in one song, JQiscool. Maybe you could start a couple of projects in which you keep the notes and chords simple, and that way a lot of different instruments and melodies can mesh well together. The isolated parts in this piece are good, but how you fit them together needs to be more meaningful. I'm glad you've been posting so much recently, JQiscool. Another great way to improve is to just get your stuff out there! ;)

Wow really long!
