[Fireflies]

I like the dreamy atmosphere at the beginning and the crisp drums at :14. The punchy breaks at :27 are catchy and well-balanced, but also a bit over-compressed. I like the dynamic contrast and melodic flair provided by the breakdown between :55 and 1:20 or so, and the shimmering synth at 1:23 was an especially neat sound design choice. The airy, sighing synth at 1:37 has a nice melancholy and wistful quality to it, which contrasts nicely with the energetic and blissful refrain. I might've liked to hear a bit more variety in the refrain the second time around, but the piano outro was a nice sentimental touch. Overall, solid work here, VFG! The arrangement is a tad generic, but I love the atmosphere, sound design, and melodies. ^_^

[Village Fest - NGADM Round 2]

I like the bright tone of the piano riff at the beginning. The syncopations are really nice, and the melodies at :30 have a whimsical and cutesy quality to them. The Irish flute is a great addition to the sound design, and between percussion and mallets this piece has a really lush texture in the top end of the frequency range, which is fairly uncommon on Newgrounds IMO. The change-of-pace for the outro at 2:31 was another great compositional idea, and the dreamy, shimmering strings and waltzy rhythms throughout this piece truly make it what it is. Strong work across the board, Elias! Good luck in the ADM. ^_^

[The Infinite Monkey Ball]

I like the distorted texture at the beginning and the frantic beats at :09. The rhythmic content here is really creative, and the grating sound design and minimalism complement each other well. Some of your drum samples sound a tad generic, like the snare at 1:01, and I also think the lead synth at 1:26 could've sounded a bit more polished. The return of the frantic beats at 1:52 was nice, and you kept finding ways to add dynamism to the texture. The dreamy outro at 2:55 was a pleasant surprise too. Part of me wanted to see you integrate some of the atmospheric elements of the last 30 seconds into the section with the busy beat a bit more, just to make the arrangement of this piece a little less choppy. But overall, this is really compelling work, LN! Good luck in the ADM. ^_^

[All That I Am]

I like the emotional appeal of the beginning. The piano progression reminds me a lot of the soundtrack of Interstellar (which is a good thing), and the warm strings and harpsichord blend nicely into the texture as well. The synth riff at :46 complements the cinematic flair well, and the breakdown at 1:05 helps add some structural contrast before the final climactic section at 1:24. The percussion here could've been a bit more up-front in the mix at times, and I also would've liked to hear some more prominent melodic content at some point. The strings cut off a bit abruptly at 2:02, although ending with the percussion was a good idea. Overall, solid work here, AceMantra! I really like the sound design and progression in particular. I like the creative beats at the beginning and the groovy synths shortly thereafter, especially the riff at :20. The mix is nice and punchy, and you balance the rhythmic appeal and melodic elements well throughout. The transition at 1:52 was a bit sudden, but you hit the piece home nicely at the end. Strong production quality, sound design, and progression here, CG! Good luck in the ADM. ^_^

[Garance's Theme]

I love your waltzes, Everratic. :D This sounds elegant, determined, and light-hearted. Once the strings come in at :39, you've really encapsulated a sense of wonder and majesty, like a child wading through a landscape made of candy. The oom-pah brass and oboe melodies at 1:18 add a nice sense of mystery and furtiveness for contrast, and the modulation at 1:58 helps brighten the tone for the last melodic section of the piece. Really lovely work overall! Good luck in the ADM. ^_^

I like the punchy percussion at the beginning and the crisp string riffs shortly thereafter. The choir and brass lines at around :20 - :40 sound a tad thin, though. Maybe they would be more impactful if they filled the entire length until the next note. The romantic-sounding bridge at :48 was a nice touch, and I'm enjoying the distortion in the background and the eerie undertones too. You could've done a tad more to knit the disparate sections of the piece together, but the piece still has an appealing A-B-A form and sense of climax towards the end. Strong work, LSD! I'm particularly impressed with the production here. Good luck in the ADM! ^_^

I'm glad you liked the production! I haven't shown much of it on NG yet, but I think my production has improved even more since this. If I happen to go further in the NGADM this year, I'm hoping I'll be able to summon forth enough time to show you some of it ^____^

[Time Dodger x Spider in the Snow]

I like the minimal beats at the beginning and the jazzy E-piano riffs. Along with your trademark glitchiness and atmospheric flair, I'm really enjoying the progression of this. I like how you incorporated vocals here, although I wish the melodies layered on top of them at around 2:10 were a bit more prominent in the mix. At around 2:40, the vocal lines clash with each other a bit, and may even be a bit flat in places. But the moodiness of the piece and the 8-bit sound design still shine through, and I'm always an admirer of your rhythmic content and atmosphere. Keep at it, LLAAPPSSEE! ^_^

Yeah, this track needs some more love'n. I only stayed up one night till the afternoon putting it together, hah. I'll hopefully get back to it. The vocals where just a little experiment and a bit raw (insert Gordon Ramsey yelling). Probs are a bit flat -- I'm not much of a singer and am stubborn about auto-tune. I have a version without as well -- may upload for them GD boys, but I'd rather come back with a more solid mix.

I love your ambient tracks. The female vocals are haunting, and the jazzy harmonies (at :47 and other places) and string drones fit the melancholy mood really well. It's not as dynamic as some of your other tracks, but I love the moody tone and sound design. The guitars and percussion later on help give it some sense of progression, and overall it reminds me of a romance scene in some medieval-themed action movie. It's a treat to see you experimenting with other styles. Keep it up, WF! ^_^

[Move or Die OST]

I remember this! I like the heavy breaks at the beginning and the bubbly melodies shortly thereafter. The sound design definitely reminds me of old-school Waterflame, and the beat is especially creative in the "theme or die" track. Honestly, it feels like you could've strung this together into one track with only a little more effort. The instrumentation, chord progressions, and beats are all really similar across all the individual tracks. I especially like the subtle riser at 4:00 or so and the breaks at 4:25 - they feel more staccato-y and crisp than the ones at the beginning of the first track. Overall, this is a really catchy, fun, and well-produced soundtrack! :D
