Yeah! Easy to get attached to: groovy and relatable. Excellent choice of instruments. Liked the ending, too, and it's hard to find relaxed, throw-back kind of music on NG. Nice work! I feel like I've heard a lot of songs like this before, though- represents most old-fashioned country songs perfectly as far as I'm concerned. You might want to work on the vocals a bit, too- they sounded almost whiney sometimes. Sorry. Still, you got your point across, and I like the style of this piece. It's really something different, and that's a good thing. ;)

Thank you very much for your honest review. Vocals are not my strongest point, so I will take what you say into consideration.

Interesting instruments, and I like the style. Drums were interesting, too, especially how you used them as a transition. I don't feel like this song is complete, however. Maybe you could add more of a climax to the piece. It seemed like that's what you were doing until :48, then it fades off. I do like the synth at :50, though. However, I don't understand what you were doing at the end...it didn't loop well, but it also just ended. I was almost...confused. I'm sure you don't feel like this is complete either, but I feel like completed pieces express emotions better than short, bizarrely-ended pieces. Please try to understand. It's a great start, and I like the dreamy and ambient theme. Keep working on it; I think it would be worth it. ;)

I definately appreciate where your coming from. It's not finished and won't ever be sadly. This is one of about 300 tracks I had made that have been lost over time. Just finding CD's with these on them recently and uploading them so I can always have a listen. Thank you for the review though. I agree with all your points. Maybe I will re-make this one day.

Hi, Housecatt. Saw you had another new song, and thought I'd check it out. I like the ominous beginning, and the instruments you used after that were really engaging. Maybe a little repetitive, but I like the end- it's pretty sudden and ominous, like the beginning. I felt like you could've done more with the piece, however, maybe added a little more form to it. Still, while the instruments were bizarre, they were pretty groovy. Fitting title, and much less dissonant and unmelodious than your last piece (but just as unique)! Keep it up! :)

housecatt responds:

thanks man this really helped me out alot and understand what It was you were trying to explain to meh I appreciate the feedback bro :)

Yay! Love the dreamy melody at the beginning, although it did get a little repetitive. Still, I like how you shook it up later in the song, especially when the bass came in at 1:23. I admire the style and form of this piece, especially the transition around 3:40. The drums were a little boring, however, and I feel like they could've added a lot to the emotional contrast of the song- between the rhythmic and lively parts of the song and the melodic parts of the song. I also feel like you could've added more emotion to the piece with a more pronounced chord, or just a different instrument for the chord altogether. The instrument you have for the chord now sounded like an electric guitar to me, which I found interesting, yet perhaps irrelevant to the theme of the song. Still, I liked the ending and title, and, other than the chord, you establish the mood well. Good work. It really grabbed and kept my attention. :)

thank you for the excellent review. I greatly appreciated it when someone gives a review that is actually helpful and says what they did and didn't like

thanks :)

hmm...it's very...unique! I like the bass that comes in at :16, but most of the song felt dissonant and didn't have any musical value for me. Sorry. Maybe you could use those effects as transitions, instead of the structure for a whole song. I think the bass at :16 is a better instrument to structure the song around. Also, interesting use of the kick at the beginning. I think it has potential, it just seems...incomplete. Keep working on it; you could make this work! :)

housecatt responds:

thanks for the Information mate, of course these are just demo's my friend and yes they are Incomplete and I am working on a album :) thanks again thedoor6.

Dubstep isn't my favorite genre, but the distorted lyrics and the interesting instruments kept my attention. Good job. I feel like I've heard that same bass pattern quite a few times before, but I like the twist you put on it with the bass instrument at :45. Maybe a little repetitive, too, but the lyrics add a lot to the song. It was also very well-structured and I liked the drums and effects. Hope I'll here from you again, Bassmeisters. :)

Bassmeisters responds:

You will and thank you so much for the very nice comment and feedback! :)

All the best!

Really interesting, to say the least. Love the instruments and the harmonies. :29-1:17 almost reminds me of The Script's style (and that's a good thing). Melody was perhaps a little dry, however. I also feel like you wanted this piece to be either smooth and calming, or more energetic, but I can't tell which. Maybe you could try taking a distinctive side with the "bow style," even if those definately aren't real strings. I think it would help this piece reach its full emotional potential. Also, a little repetitive. Still, I like how this piece easily gets stuck in my head, and creates an image of a royal garden. Also love the piano/synth that comes in every 8 beats later in the song. Overall, well done. This is a memorable and creatively written piece. Not perfect, but definately worthy of respect. Therefore, I shall give you, sir, a well-earned 5/5.

Thanks, wasn't expecting little to any feedback on this track. I basically created it today within 2 hours worth of time. When I had no Internet access, aka the name of the track. It soon became catchy, and I soon added to it until it continued to be stuck in my head. With the loop in focus, I did it so it would sound great in the end. The instruments are an electro drum track, I did actually use real strings/instruments in the sense that they came from a sound library known as "miroslav philharmonik". The piano/synth sounding item, is actually in fact a harp. Also included in the track is viola, and violin strings. As well as a two flutes, and a small choir of male/female. I really didn't go into any theme in particular with the song, other than that it became catchy fairly quickly when I started with the base beat. Then I added harmonies, and I can kind of see your thinking of the song I didn't think it could fit anything other than being catchy. Thanks for the review!

Yay! Love the emotion in this piece, and well-structured too. 1:08 was a valuable transition. Liked the beginning, too...pretty different. I must say, however, not the most original work I've seen on NG. I'm sorry to say that the bassline is a little too familiar for me, you know? Other than that, excellent work. Classic example of upbeat techno. I see you've already drawn in a few fans, well-deserved. ;)

DJ-Frosted responds:

Hey thanks man! Yeah i do over use that bass a little bit... but i made it and didn't copy anyone else :)

i'll make a new bass eventually.. >_< (sound production is very time consuming)

Pretty good! I liked the beat at the beginning and the transitions a lot, but honestly I was expecting a little more of the melody. It was pretty climactic, which is good, but it felt a little too...simple at times. Still, I like the instruments you used and the beat and I think you have potential, so keep it up! :)

gunmaster4ever responds:

i made a new version, hope you like it even more ^^
