Catchy, bass-y, awesome! I love the instruments, as well as the melody and transitions (ex: :51). It makes a pretty good loop, too, well-structured and all. Great job. ;)

Wasn't expecting a review so soon! I'm really glad you liked it! Makes me feel like I'm doing something right. Appreciate it, brother.
I like the instruments and beat, but it progresses a little slowly for my tastes in the beginning. At some points, it seems a little too busy, like at 1:04, and at others it lacks substance, like at 1:58. However, I do like the frantic synths and bass and the smooth transitions. It's not my favorite genre, but I recognize that it's a well-structured piece, and I like the ending too. Good job. ;)
thanks, glad you liked it, it's kinda like the first time i tried something more kinda mechanistic or kinda robotic like something like than
It's really catchy, and I like the effects and transitions like at :26. I do wish it was a little more varied, however. Are you planning on rapping over it? It ends a little suddenly too. Still, I liked the part at 2:08, and it's a solid beat. Keep it up, man! ;)
If someone feels like rapping why not!
The melody and beat were pretty good, but that melody instrument is really penetrating. I like the transition at :25, it loops really well, and the harmonies are good. That instrument is just really in-your-face, if you know what I mean. I don't think that's the mood you were going for, and I suggest you find an instrument that's a little more...cute-sounding. Sorry. Maybe that's just me being intolerant, but, anyway, keep up the good work. ;)
It's ok.. I know what you mean. I thought it was annoying the more I started listening to it.. I have many instruments that probably could of turned out better. Thanks for your opinion and thanks for listening.. :)
I like the mood and instruments. The structure of it is also really well done. I like the simple little melodies, and everything meshes together really well. It does get a little repetitive, and I wish there was a little more emotional/dynamic contrast, but it's still a really strong composition, and it loops well, too. Great job, again, Scrabbit! :D
Thank you :] I agree it needs a little more contrast. I did try that originally, but it didn't fit the game very well. I think, if I did it now, I'd be able to have a more varied piece that still fit though. I might go back and see what I can do with it, actually.
I like the beat and the bass, and it's really climactic, which is good. The instruments and melody are good, although it progresses pretty slowly and is a little repetitive. I think it's still within the realm of your style, but I understand that this was a big step for you, Matt, and it's definitely worthwhile! It would probably make a great loop if it progressed a little faster. Great job, but I think you should keep working on it! ;)
Thanks man. I definitely will keep working on it! Would you say it sounds like House or is it still Trance? I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to differentiating genres.
Okay, I give up. I have to review this. Matt, I know this isn't the new genre I've been waiting for, but this is nonetheless an awesome track. I love the dreamy intro, and the instrument at :33 was absolutely engrossing. The transitions, the instruments, the melodies- everything I love about your music in six minutes (the length, btw, is understandable- you kept me engaged). The tempo changes also were really cool and interesting. Well-structured, uplifting, probably one of my favorite trance tracks on NG. The ending was also fitting. Amazing work! :D Sorry I didn't review this earlier. I was stubbornly waiting for your complextro/house/dubstep song. Keep it up, man! ;D
Thanks for the review man. Due to this being made during my art block, I was starting to think it wasn't a good song at all, but thanks for changing my mind on that. Your reviews mean a lot to me :)
It's the perfect combo of pretty and spooky! :D I can feel the apprehension in this piece! I like the instruments and the simplicity to it. I must say, however- fade-out endings aren't really the most creative ways of ending pieces. Maybe you could loop it. I would also suggest adding a little more dynamic/emotional contrast, but if it's for a game, I can understand your reasoning behind keeping it mellow throughout. I love the mood and the instruments, though. Great job! :D
Hey man, thanks for listening and leaving a review! I'm glad you enjoyed the instruments and the simplicity of the song, and I agree with you about the ending. Not to make excuses or anything, but I simply ran out of ideas and wanted to finish up the song quickly (I must have listened through the entire song over 100 times or more). However, on that note, I really like this piece and in all likelihood I will be working on it in the future. I'll be sure to come up with a better, more creative ending next time 'round! ;)
Thanks again for listening! :)
