Very calming. :) I like the instruments and mood, although I wish there was a bit more substance at some points. The transition at :59 was a little sudden, but I like how you made it sound like it was improvised (like a lot of jazz is) throughout. It has a nice, cheery little ending, too. ^^ I'd love to hear some of your original work. ;)

Thanks!Yep, it's lacking in a few areas, but I'm glad you liked it =)

Beautiful! :D I love the mood and instruments. The melody is uplifting, and it's very smooth and flowing. Well-structured, engaging, inspiring! Newgrounds needs more music like this! :D

DkayR responds:

Glad you enjoyed it.

I like the ominous beginning and instruments. I especially appreciated the percussion at 4:27. The drama and emotion is amazing throughout. Well-structured, good transitions, excellent dynamic contrast. A truly amazing composition! ;D

I appreciate your kind words and I am very glad that you enjoyed it! Keep on dreaming ;)

I like the beat, but I'm not sure I like the distorted sounds at the beginning. It doesn't really progress very quickly, and some of your transitions were pretty rough, like at 1:08. I liked the instrument you used for the melody, as well as the ominous mood. I wish there was a little more substance at some points, however. The ending isn't bad, and it could even turn into a loop if you want to go that route. It's not a bad start; it has potential, but I think you need to make it flow more, create some more variation, and maybe add some more layers of sound. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

Void responds:

Thank you man, I'm just using samples at the moment. Maybe later on I'll start creating my own drum beats etc. (If I can figure out how to use FL studio.)

I appreciate the attempt at emotion and all, but I don't think that piano instrument at the beginning really felt...powerful and full enough, y'know? However, I do like the pop-rock feel to it you incorporate in there after about 1:00. You also incorporated the Summer Set samples well. I thought some of your transitions could've been smoother, though, like at 2:00, 2:39, and 3:18. Btw, you probably already noticed, but that Summer Set sample cuts off a little early on "Love." ;) I liked the ending, and it definitely has potential. I just think it needs to flow more. Keep at it, JQiscool. ;)

JQiscool responds:

Hmm. What should I do to make the piano powerful?
PM me.
Pop-rock is a fun genre for me to create, unfortunately I know very little about it.
My transitions have needed work since day 1 of my music making days.
I will work on it!
Thanks for reviewing!

I like the instruments. It's catchy and has this fresh sort of vibe. I wish the intro progressed a little faster, but I liked the transition at :46 and the melody at 1:05. The vocals didn't quite work for me, however, especially the more low-pitched ones. Overall solid groove, though. Keep at it, man. ;)

DreamEater responds:

ah yes, I had a feeling that the robot vox wouldn't agree with everyone; I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the other bits though ;D next time I'll just have to do ALL the vocals myself ;]

Catchy, bass-y, awesome! I love the instruments, as well as the melody and transitions (ex: :51). It makes a pretty good loop, too, well-structured and all. Great job. ;)

KumoKan responds:

Wasn't expecting a review so soon! I'm really glad you liked it! Makes me feel like I'm doing something right. Appreciate it, brother.

I like the instruments and beat, but it progresses a little slowly for my tastes in the beginning. At some points, it seems a little too busy, like at 1:04, and at others it lacks substance, like at 1:58. However, I do like the frantic synths and bass and the smooth transitions. It's not my favorite genre, but I recognize that it's a well-structured piece, and I like the ending too. Good job. ;)

wax-jr responds:

thanks, glad you liked it, it's kinda like the first time i tried something more kinda mechanistic or kinda robotic like something like than

It's really catchy, and I like the effects and transitions like at :26. I do wish it was a little more varied, however. Are you planning on rapping over it? It ends a little suddenly too. Still, I liked the part at 2:08, and it's a solid beat. Keep it up, man! ;)

hopeku responds:

If someone feels like rapping why not!

The melody and beat were pretty good, but that melody instrument is really penetrating. I like the transition at :25, it loops really well, and the harmonies are good. That instrument is just really in-your-face, if you know what I mean. I don't think that's the mood you were going for, and I suggest you find an instrument that's a little more...cute-sounding. Sorry. Maybe that's just me being intolerant, but, anyway, keep up the good work. ;)

DJaxsNG responds:

It's ok.. I know what you mean. I thought it was annoying the more I started listening to it.. I have many instruments that probably could of turned out better. Thanks for your opinion and thanks for listening.. :)
