Nice! :D I like how it's so climactic and catchy. The instruments were good, too. I'm not a huge fan of progressive stuff, but I liked the breaks at 1:44 and the transitions were all really smooth. I liked the breakdown at 2:43 as well, and you certainly kept the emotion and energy levels up. It's nice and upbeat, and really well-structured, too. A solid piece. Keep it up, Khrossfire! ;)

Thanks so much for reviewing! :D

Progressive is meh for a lot of people I know too. They tell me it's too repetitive. Mebbe I break that rule this time hopefully? xD

Thank you :) I was actually afraid people wouldn't like that it was so empty at the breakdown. we'll see ^^

gah Thank you again!!

I like the effects and weird beat, although it progresses really slowly...I see what you mean by a "five-minute 42-second song." The bass and the melody were both isolated, which was interesting, but you don't really have a lot of notes in there in general...not my style, man. Sorry. I definitely don't think this should've been 6 minutes long- it gets really repetitive after a while. I liked the part after 3:58 more, and I do like the instruments and effects as said, but it needs to be a little more concise, y'know? Still, I liked how it ended how it began, and I respect the originality and all. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

I liked the instruments and harmonies, and the mood, too. The melody was good, and I can really imagine this "new destination." It loops pretty well, too. I could totally picture this as being the background music to the end of a game. I also like the simplicity of it. Nice job. ;)

Calamaistr responds:

Its not the last track on the album yet! So check back ;)

thanks for your kind review.

Yay! :D It's nice and upbeat! I like the instruments and transitions, especially the one at :45. It's engaging and catchy and well-structured, and I like the beat. The little melodies, like at 2:31, added a lot to the piece. It's a very lively and energetic piece, and it kept my attention very well. It even loops pretty well! You nailed it, AgentWhiskers! :D

AgentWhiskers responds:

Thanks for the detailed impressions. :) I try and always write music from the heart. Glad someone picked up on that.

It's pretty and ominous. I like the lyrics themselves, but also the whispery voice you used for the lyrics. I feel like sometimes the instruments overpowered the lyrics, and the transition at 2:10 was a little sudden for me, but excellent choice of instruments and I love the mood. I have to say: I think fade-out endings are rarely interesting. Maybe it's fitting for this piece, but I encourage you to find a more creative way of ending this track. Overall, it's a well-structured piece with a lot of substance, an engaging and haunting moodiness to it, and a minor pacing issue. Great job! ;D

Thank you for your helpful advice, I will keep that in mind for future tracks

There was nothing too unique in it in the first 2 minutes or so, although I liked the ominous part at :24. The percussion that you introduce at :08 got a little annoying for me, to be honest. I found the bassline, as well as a lot of the transitions, cliche, and on top of that this isn't my favorite genre. Still, I like the instruments and variations towards the end. I like that you went somewhere with this piece, even if it took a less-than-engaging two minutes to get there. I'd suggest cutting out most of the intro, making the end a little less repetitive, and continuing to build on the solid structure you have going for this piece. I understand that this piece is incomplete, but I don't like fade-out endings. They're rarely interesting in my opinion. Overall, it's pretty catchy, but I agree that there is a lot more work to do. It has potential, but it needs to be more unique. Keep working on this one, man. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

Xsalvaz responds:

Thanks man! It certainly was! I understand all of your points. I do need to make adjustments to the length. However a lot of this is consistant with the genre, although I am a beginner at house, I do this becomes a successful track.

I like the ominous beginning and the instruments. I wish it was a little more varied, but your transitions in general were smooth and was pretty climactic, which is always good. :) Progressive trance isn't my favorite genre, but it was really catchy and engaging in general. The part at 2:26 sounded a bit muddy and distorted to me, which I didn't like, but, like I said, it's probably just not my style. I think you could do without the subito forte at 3:16- it didn't seem to add anything to the piece. Also, the transition at 3:46 seemed a little cliche, but the last 90 seconds or so was good, except a don't like fade-out endings because I rarely find them interesting. Overall, pretty good job. Keep it up, man! ;)

wax-jr responds:

glad you liked man, i had to cut it because it was too long so most of the parts sound kinda weird but yeah it took me a long time to master it because i think i over do it you may like some other stuff i got there

I like the chill intro and bass-y instruments in the beginning, but I honestly think the instrument at :23 should've been just as spacey but less penetrating. I don't think it contributed to the ambient mood. I like the beat and the bass. The ending could've been stronger. Overall, pretty solid work. Keep it up! ;)

Possibly responds:

Heh cheers - yeah, as it was for something specific the synth was/is a bit on the strong side :) Thanks for the comment, appreciate it.
