There was nothing too unique in it in the first 2 minutes or so, although I liked the ominous part at :24. The percussion that you introduce at :08 got a little annoying for me, to be honest. I found the bassline, as well as a lot of the transitions, cliche, and on top of that this isn't my favorite genre. Still, I like the instruments and variations towards the end. I like that you went somewhere with this piece, even if it took a less-than-engaging two minutes to get there. I'd suggest cutting out most of the intro, making the end a little less repetitive, and continuing to build on the solid structure you have going for this piece. I understand that this piece is incomplete, but I don't like fade-out endings. They're rarely interesting in my opinion. Overall, it's pretty catchy, but I agree that there is a lot more work to do. It has potential, but it needs to be more unique. Keep working on this one, man. Hope this review was helpful. ;)

Thanks man! It certainly was! I understand all of your points. I do need to make adjustments to the length. However a lot of this is consistant with the genre, although I am a beginner at house, I do this becomes a successful track.

I like the ominous beginning and the instruments. I wish it was a little more varied, but your transitions in general were smooth and was pretty climactic, which is always good. :) Progressive trance isn't my favorite genre, but it was really catchy and engaging in general. The part at 2:26 sounded a bit muddy and distorted to me, which I didn't like, but, like I said, it's probably just not my style. I think you could do without the subito forte at 3:16- it didn't seem to add anything to the piece. Also, the transition at 3:46 seemed a little cliche, but the last 90 seconds or so was good, except a don't like fade-out endings because I rarely find them interesting. Overall, pretty good job. Keep it up, man! ;)

wax-jr responds:

glad you liked man, i had to cut it because it was too long so most of the parts sound kinda weird but yeah it took me a long time to master it because i think i over do it you may like some other stuff i got there

I like the chill intro and bass-y instruments in the beginning, but I honestly think the instrument at :23 should've been just as spacey but less penetrating. I don't think it contributed to the ambient mood. I like the beat and the bass. The ending could've been stronger. Overall, pretty solid work. Keep it up! ;)

Possibly responds:

Heh cheers - yeah, as it was for something specific the synth was/is a bit on the strong side :) Thanks for the comment, appreciate it.

I like the creepy, ambient instruments and pacing of the song. I think the beat could've been a lot stronger, and there were parts of the song in which I felt like you could've done a little more with it, as it doesn't have a lot of substance in general, but still a pretty solid ambient groove. Keep up the good work. ;)

knee-grow responds:

I think, listening the day after, their definitely could have been more substance. I appreciate the kind words though :)

It's catchy and it loops well. I like how it's constantly changing, and, while it is different from many of your other tracks, I'm still getting those half-ambient, half-epic vibes that are in a lot of your other pieces. Rock isn't my favorite genre, but great job as usual! ;)

Support is everything! Thanks for listening!

I like it. :) The beat was good and the ominous beginning was interesting. I think you need more of a smooth transition at :30. After that, it was pretty catchy, but I thought the melody at 1:00 was a little strange. You had another one of those stop-and-go transitions at 1:33, but I liked the breakdown bit after that. 2:10 was a much better transition. The piano at 2:25 seemed to come out of nowhere, and maybe it's just not my style, but I'm not sure I like the stop-and-go transitions like at 2:42. I liked the transition at 3:15, though. In general, I felt it was a bit longer than it needed to be, but I liked the instruments you used and the beat. Keep up the good work! :)

0_o´´ Whoa tanx for your respond dude! i really gonna take that info =)

Interesting...it's dreamy and relaxing, but it also has a lot of energy. Love the climactic nature of it and the moody, ambient feeling in certain sections. It's pretty repetitive and distorted at times- not my favorite genre- but I understand that this is your style. ;) I like the rhythmic and energetic sections a lot as well as the dreamy beginning. In general, it's pretty catchy and unique, and I liked the ending. Good job! :)

SynchroSpectre responds:

Haha, unique? Almost every piece Trance music similar to this is almost exactly the same, this song follows the monotonous build and the breakdown the same way almost every classic Trance piece, of course some people try and mix things up a bit to prevent that but hey, this is a pretty easy genre.

(btw, I didn't do any "fade ins" and "fade outs" this time ;)

It's pretty. :) Loops pretty well too. The melody is nice and upbeat, but I feel like it needs to have more substance to be a full song. You should keep working on it. :) Great start, though. ;)

DarkantheHero responds:

I'd write a whole song form but I'm rushing to get a demo reel together for internships, so I've been writing 30 second cues to save time. I have a few pieces I'll probably come back to later and finish. Thanks for the comments.

I love the emotion! It's so upbeat! I listened to the full track on Soundcloud, and I like it a lot. Like I've said before, I don't think all your tracks need to be so long, but I understand that it's your style. :) I'm sure your girlfriend will love it, and that's the important thing. ;)

Dylnmatrix responds:

Thanks man. I'm glad you like it.

And yes, she loved it, so I'm happy.
